Viewing the site by use of the "Tool Page" menu

To use the "Directory" select a "Tools Page" from the directory. The "Tools Page" contains links to all the general pages that contain products.   The tools are organized based on their specific application.  Some tools are listed on more than one page due their multiple uses.

Finding an item by use of "Search"

The search allows you to search items listed by Name, Part Number, or Description.  The search includes built in options for synonyms and phrases. 

Adding an item to the cart

To add an item to the cart use the buttons below the item summary.  Not all items are available for new, rent, or used.  When an item is available the button will be enabled and allow you to add the item to the cart. 

Understanding the cart summary

The cart summary contains the item and their type (new, rental, deposit, etc).  The summary also includes a subtotal for the items added to your cart. 

Viewing your shopping cart

To view your cart use the "View cart" link in the top right hand corner.  The shopping cart contains some specific information on the items you have added to your cart.  Below the cart summary an additional tool rental summary will be visible when a rental tool is added to the cart. 

Changing tool rental details

Tool rental details can be modified by selecting the rental tool in the drop down list.  Rental shipping method is different than the rest of the order.  Each rental item can have a different shipping method.  The rental period is an estimate that you have for the amount of time you will need the tool.  It is there as reference to us.  The rental period does not include any shipping time.  The start date is selected from the calendar.  Once a start date is selected the page is reloaded to show your selected rental period.  You can use the "Update Item" button to update the selected tool, or you can use the "Update All" button to modify all the rental tools to your current selections. 

Checking Out/Processing your order

The processing of your order will only start from the shopping cart.  If you are not in the shopping cart page, use the view cart link from the top right side of the page.  Use the "Proceed to Checkout" button to start the checkout process.  You will be asked to sign in or register if you haven't done so already.

Registering for the first time

To register use the "Register" link in the top right corner of the page.  Fill in the requested data to register a new account.  Be sure to keep your username and password in a safe place so that you can sign in the next time using the same account

Signing in

Use the username and password you established when you created the account.

Editing your profile

Once your log-in account is established you can edit your profile to include your billing and shipping information.   

Selecting the shipping method for your order

Before placing your order select the shipment method for the items in your cart that you are not renting (new, used tools).

Placing your order

Use the "Place Order" button on the check-out page to finalize your order.  You will receive order confirmations via e-mail.
